Overview of Diarna Project Apartments in New Cairo
The Ministry of Housing continues to accept apartment reservations for the Diarna project in cooperation with the Housing and Development Bank until June 12. The initial phase includes more than 35,000 apartments across several governorates, as part of a broader plan to offer 400,000 units in total. New Cairo is one of the most prominent locations in this offering, where the price per square meter is EGP 20,000. For example, an apartment of 129 square meters can cost up to EGP 2,580,000. To reserve a unit, a down payment of EGP 200,000 is required. The units will be delivered after a minimum of two years.
Payment Terms and Installment Plan

50% of the unit price must be paid over two years before delivery.

The remaining 50% is to be paid over 3 to 5 years, with an interest rate equivalent to the Central Bank of Egypt’s interest rate plus 2.5%.
