Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, announced the first phase of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians 7” dedicated to middle-income citizens, in accordance with President El-Sisi’s directives. This phase includes 15,000 residential units under the mortgage finance system. Applications will be open from May 21 to June 4, 2025. Submitted applications will be reviewed to determine eligibility, and there will be a designated period for filing appeals. Afterwards, eligible applicants will be able to select their units via a designated online platform and will receive SMS notifications.
Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund, announced the launch of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians 7,” which will offer residential units ranging in size from 90 to 127 square meters in various locations across the country. The available units include both immediately ready units and others scheduled for delivery within 18 to 36 months. It is important to note that these timelines may change depending on economic conditions. A total of 396 units ready for immediate delivery have been allocated in the governorates of Red Sea, Dakahlia, and Damietta.
Mai Abdel Hamid also announced the offering of 9,872 units scheduled for delivery within 18 months in several new cities, including Aswan, Assiut, Beheira, Giza, Sharqia, Cairo, Minya, and Beni Suef. Additionally, 5,372 more units are available for delivery within 36 months in the governorates of Red Sea, Dakahlia, Minya, and Matrouh. She emphasized that the number of offered units is subject to change based on developments.
Mortgage finance conditions require applicants to be between 21 and 50 years old and legally eligible. Purchasing the units in cash is prohibited, and applicants must commit to the mortgage finance system for up to 20 years, subject to credit approval.
