Dr. Sayed Ismail, Deputy Minister of Housing, took part in a workshop organized by the Arab Organization for Industrialization in collaboration with Aminsa Company, under the theme “Digitization and Manufacturing of Spare Parts” using 3D printing technologies. Dr. Ismail praised the benefits of these advanced techniques in accelerating production and reducing costs compared to traditional methods. He also emphasized the importance of leveraging the manufacturing capabilities of the Engine Factory to support the development of local products and increase the proportion of locally sourced components.
Lieutenant General Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, delivered a speech highlighting the organization’s extensive capabilities. He noted that the organization encompasses 14 companies and factories across various sectors contributing to enhanced production and technological development. He also stressed the organization’s commitment to the directives of the political leadership aimed at increasing local manufacturing, localizing technology, and reducing imports through a modern industrial base. Furthermore, he underlined the importance of boosting investment opportunities with global companies in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development.
