The factory represents an investment of $150 million, provides 700 direct jobs and 220 indirect ones, and has an annual production capacity of 250,000 tons of ductile iron pipes.
The Deputy Minister expressed his satisfaction with the inauguration of the first phase of the factory, affirming the Ministry’s ongoing support for the state’s strategy to open new markets both locally and internationally. He emphasized the significance of exporting to African and Gulf countries at competitive prices, with a focus on boosting demand for local products.
