Deputy Head of NUCA Inspects Development Projects in Hadayek El-Asimah City

Cairo – Engineer Amin Ghoneim, Deputy Head of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for City Development and Expansion, accompanied by NUCA officials, conducted an inspection visit to Hadayek El-Asimah City to monitor the progress of ongoing projects. The visit was in line with the directives of Engineer Sheref El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, to ensure regular follow-up on projects in new cities.

The inspection began with a visit to the fifth phase of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” where 258 residential buildings are under construction, including an area with 111 buildings supervised by the Research Center. The apartments, measuring 90 square meters each, are part of the broader housing initiative aimed at providing affordable homes to Egyptians.

Officials also visited the city’s water pumping station, assessing ongoing work, and reviewed the infrastructure and road development projects in the 2,350-acre area, which is part of the fifth phase of the city’s expansion.

Engineer Amin Ghoneim emphasized the importance of ensuring that companies working on the projects provide necessary materials such as interlock tiles, asphalt, and curbstones, to maintain the required quality standards. He also stressed the need for continuous monitoring by the city’s officials to ensure work is completed on time and to specifications.

Furthermore, Ghoneim highlighted the importance of completing landscaping in areas ready for planting to maintain the city’s aesthetic appeal. He also called for ongoing supervision of the service buildings being constructed to ensure they meet quality standards.

The inspection tour was attended by Engineer Kamal Bahgat and Engineer Ahmed Omran, assistants to the Deputy Head of NUCA for Development, Engineer Ahmed Ali, Assistant Deputy Head for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, Engineer Ahmed Shawky, Deputy Head’s Assistant, Engineer Ammar Mandour, Head of the Hadayek El-Asimah City Authority, and other officials from the city authority.
