Last night, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held his regular meeting with a number of parliament members from both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry and its affiliated executive bodies.
The Minister began the meeting by welcoming the parliamentarians, emphasizing the importance of the current stage, which requires joint efforts to overcome challenges—especially since the parliamentarians represent various segments of society. He stressed the necessity of ongoing communication and integration between the executive and legislative authorities to serve the interests of the nation and its citizens. He also affirmed his keenness to maintain continuous contact with members of parliament to listen to the demands of their constituencies and work towards meeting them.
The parliamentarians’ requests covered housing projects, drinking water, and sanitation services, in addition to other areas related to the Ministry of Housing’s work in various governorates and cities.
Members of both the House of Representatives and the Senate expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny for his swift direction to the Ministry of Housing’s teams and its affiliated bodies to follow up on projects directly and on-site. This contributed to accelerating the pace of work and enhancing coordination to meet citizens’ needs.
