The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities in Egypt has announced the closing date for applications to reserve free housing units, scheduled for December 15, 2025.
This announcement comes as part of the second phase of one of the ministry’s largest ongoing housing projects, which includes nearly 400,000 residential units offered in multiple phases across various new cities. The current phase provides 1,680 units in New Suez City and 264 units in the Rawdat Al-Obour project in Obour City, with a booking deposit of 151,000 EGP required for each unit.
In this context, Minister of Housing Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny affirmed the ministry’s commitment to implementing the government’s directives to provide suitable housing for all citizens under the comprehensive urban development plan.
He emphasized that all housing projects adhere to the highest quality standards to support the goals of the “New Republic,” calling on interested citizens to apply through the Official Egyptian Real Estate Platform before the deadline.
Regarding the application steps, the ministry clarified that the submission period runs from November 16 to December 15, 2025, and includes:

Pre-registration on the Digital Egypt platform.

Logging in using the digital ID.

Completing the personal profile, including personal details, address, and banking information.

Selecting the designated project and area.

Confirming the reservation and completing the electronic payment process.
