The Ministry of Housing, represented by the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund, has announced that December 31, 2024, will be the final date for purchasing the application forms for the “Housing for All Egyptians 5” initiative and for paying the booking advance.
Mai Abdel Hamid, the CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund, stated that the deadline for purchasing the application forms and paying the advance will be extended until Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
Abdel Hamid explained that this decision was made to compensate citizens for the temporary halt in the sale of application forms at the automated post offices. The fund aims to ensure that pensioners can easily and conveniently receive their pensions during this period.
The CEO highlighted the unprecedented interest in the “Housing for All Egyptians 5” initiative, with over 220,740 application forms sold and 42,757 citizens having paid the booking advance within just three days of the announcement.
She also pointed out that application forms are widely available at post offices, with large quantities being printed regularly and distributed to around 400 automated post offices as previously announced.
Abdel Hamid reassured citizens that there is no need to rush to the post offices to obtain the application forms, as there is no priority for those who purchase in the first days. The fund operates a priority system that is predetermined.
