Construction of 3,972 Eco-Friendly Housing Units and Industrial Zone Development in 10th of Ramadan City

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, has announced that 3,972 environmentally friendly residential units are currently under construction in 10th of Ramadan City as part of the Green Housing Project. This initiative aligns with the ministry’s broader plan to provide suitable housing services for both citizens and investors. El-Sherbiny emphasized the project’s role in promoting sustainable development and efficient resource utilization, in addition to the ongoing development of industrial zones to strengthen infrastructure. His statements came during an inspection visit to monitor the progress of various projects in the city, where he stressed the importance of adhering to quality standards and accelerating completion timelines.

Construction of 3,972 Eco-Friendly Housing Units and Industrial Zone Development in 10th of Ramadan City

Engineer Alaa Abd El-Latif explained that the Green Housing Project in the Regional Services Area includes 90 residential buildings comprising 1,842 units with areas of 75 and 90 square meters. The project has reached 70% completion. Meanwhile, the Green Housing Project in the Hadayek El-Asher (Gardens of the Tenth) area consists of 109 buildings with 2,130 units and is currently 65% complete. Engineer Abd El-Latif also inspected the industrial zones A1 and A2 to follow up on vital infrastructure works, including the implementation of the main sewage discharge line to improve sanitation efficiency. Additionally, he visited the Tenth and Fourteenth Districts to assess residents’ needs, and to inspect the status of services and infrastructure.

During the tour, the Head of the City Authority observed several violations, including attempts by some residents to carry out unauthorized building extensions without legal permits, and efforts to open illegal commercial shops. Engineer Alaa Abd El-Latif immediately instructed the summoning of departments responsible for occupancy, encroachments, mobility, equipment, sanitation, beautification, security, and the Urban Development Police to address these violations swiftly and remove them at their inception. He emphasized that the authority will not tolerate any transgressions that compromise the urban planning or distort the city’s architectural identity.

Engineer Alaa Abd El-Latif Mostafa, Head of the City Authority, also attended a lineup inspection of the equipment, vehicles, and workers of Environmaster, the company responsible for sanitation in the 13th District, to ensure full readiness and preparedness to carry out their assigned tasks.

The head of the authority inspected the machinery and workforce, highlighting the importance of maintaining the highest standards of quality and discipline in executing tasks. He stressed that such standards are essential for preserving the aesthetic and civilized appearance of the district and for delivering services that meet the expectations of the city’s residents.
