Engineer Sherif Abdel-Badie, Head of the Sohag New City Authority, reported the removal of a building violation in the “Ebny Beitak” (Build Your House) area. The tools used in the violation were confiscated, and he confirmed that campaigns will continue, including suspending dealings with illegally used land.
Operations in 6th of October City
The Head of the 6th of October City Authority stated that intensive campaigns had been carried out, leading to the removal of violations involving increased building ratios for rooftop rooms in both the Fourth Tourist Village and West Somid areas. Legal procedures have been initiated against the violators.
Enforcement in El Shorouk City
Similarly, Engineer Bassam Mohamed Fadl, Head of El Shorouk City Authority, led a campaign that resulted in the demolition of building violations on plots in the Third District East and the Fifth Neighborhood. The violations included enlarging rooftop structures. He noted that, in cooperation with the police, six closure and sealing orders were executed. This included disconnecting electricity and removing water meters from illegal businesses. A variety of violations were detected, and he affirmed the authority’s commitment to ongoing encroachment removal and law enforcement.

Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Aziz Amer, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, confirmed a campaign that shut down and sealed buildings on five land plots due to unauthorized changes in usage. Another campaign targeted illegal occupations and violations on public roads in the Third District. Confiscated materials were secured, legal reports filed, and obstructive structures removed.
