During its weekly meeting today, the Cabinet reviewed the approval of the Board of Directors of the New Urban Communities Authority in its session No. 200, held on January 28, regarding a series of requests related to the allocation of land plots to certain companies under the system of sale in US dollars from abroad, with a total of 72 requests submitted.
Under this decision, the requests included land allocations in several cities, such as New Assiut, Badr, Obour, New Sohag, October Gardens, New Obour, New Borg El Arab, New Salhiya, Sixth of October, New Mansoura, New Cairo, New Damietta, Shorouk, Tenth of Ramadan, and Sadat. These lands are designated for establishing commercial, administrative, residential, medical, entertainment, and hotel projects, as well as workshops, industrial services, warehouses, a school, a nursery, a service station, and a car fueling station.
Additionally, the Cabinet approved granting the Egyptian Space Agency a license to establish a company under the name “The Egyptian Space Services Company.” The company aims to develop and transfer space science and technology, manufacture, localize, enhance satellite development, and strengthen the country’s capabilities in building and launching satellites from Egyptian territory.
