Cabinet spokesperson Counselor Mohamed El-Homsany has revealed details about offering 400,000 housing units after Eid al-Fitr, stating that this initiative follows the president’s directives.
In a phone interview with Sada El-Balad on a TV channel, El-Homsany explained that the Ministry of Housing and all relevant authorities responsible for national housing projects have conducted an inventory of the residential units that can be offered in the coming period.
El-Homsany confirmed that the 400,000 housing units will cater to different social groups, focusing on low- and middle-income citizens.
He also mentioned that full details will be announced after Eid al-Fitr, allowing middle- and low-income individuals to acquire affordable housing units.
Additionally, he emphasized that some units are ready for immediate delivery. In contrast, others are expected to be completed within a maximum of two years—an advantage that may not be commonly available in the real estate market.
