The development authorities of Shorouk, 6th of October, and Badr cities have carried out campaigns to remove building violations, encroachments, and random urban phenomena in several areas in cooperation with the relevant police departments. This step aims to enhance urban discipline, maintain the aesthetic appearance of new cities, and enforce construction and urban planning regulations.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, stated that directives have been given to the heads of new city authorities to conduct regular inspections of various districts and take immediate action against any attempts at construction violations.
In this regard, Engineer Bassam Mohamed Fadl, Head of the Shorouk City Development Authority, explained that a wooden framework for unauthorized construction columns was removed, and construction materials and equipment were seized in plot 17 of the second district in the seventh neighborhood. Legal measures were taken against the violator during an inspection tour by neighborhood officials and security personnel.
The Head of Shorouk City Authority emphasized the ongoing monitoring efforts by neighborhood heads and security departments to firmly address violators and prevent the spread of random urban phenomena.
Engineer Mohamed Mostafa, Head of the 6th of October City Development Authority, announced that campaigns were conducted to remove violations and encroachments in the second and fourth sectors. Unauthorized rooftop rooms, obstructions in the industrial area, and violations in the Karma City area were dismantled. He stressed the importance of intensified monitoring to ensure compliance.
Similarly, Engineer Mohamed Abdel Aziz Amer, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, stated that an unauthorized additional floor in the first district was demolished due to non-compliance with construction regulations. He reaffirmed the ongoing efforts to combat illegal construction and enforce rules.
