Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued four official decisions to remove building violations and land encroachments in New Cairo, New Port Said “Salam,” and the second sector of the Northwestern North Coast. The minister reaffirmed the ongoing efforts to address and eliminate violations and trespassing on lands owned by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA). He emphasized that heads and officials of local development agencies are directly responsible for enforcing these directives. This initiative aims to maximize land use by expanding investment opportunities and preventing unregulated construction practices.
The decisions include demolishing violations on plot No. (194) in the Narges Extension (G), Third Settlement, in New Cairo City. These violations involve the construction of basement columns and a reinforced concrete fence. The orders also cover 14 building violations in New Port Said “Salam” City, in addition to seven unauthorized buildings made of white bricks in the Gumeima area, located within the second sector of the Northwestern North Coast near the El-Dabaa center.
The implementation of these demolition orders has been delegated to the local development authorities of New Cairo, New Port Said “Salam,” and the Northwestern North Coast’s second sector.
