In line with the directives of Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing and Urban Communities, and within the ministry’s efforts to enhance value-based discipline and empower its workforce, Eng. Nafisa Hashem, the Minister’s Advisor, organized a seminar focused on transferring expertise between generations to improve efficiency, reinforce institutional culture, and uphold the ethics of the engineering profession in order to achieve societal well-being.
Eng. Nafisa opened the seminar with a presentation titled “Institutional Belonging and Loyalty as a Foundation for Stability and Success.” She emphasized that belonging is a key pillar for both individual and institutional success, stressing the importance of safeguarding public funds and upholding the ministry’s mission through wise leadership, motivation, and fairness in the work environment.

The second presentation addressed “Ethics and Conduct of the Engineering Profession,” noting that engineering aims to enhance human quality of life and ensure safety and security. She highlighted the need to perform duties with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity while adhering to professional regulations and respecting intellectual property. She also stressed the importance of continuous education and skill development for engineers.
Eng. Nafisa concluded by stating that such initiatives aim to develop employees to ensure outstanding performance across both technical and administrative fields.
