Engineer Ali Saad, Head of the 15th of May City Development Authority, held a training workshop titled “Field Beautification and Urban Coordination” aimed at improving the investment environment and training employees, with the participation of relevant departments and the 2050 Committee. This workshop was held based on the directives of the Minister of Housing, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, to strengthen investment management in new cities. Dr. Osama Mohamed Ali, General Director of Beautification at the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), emphasized the importance of urban coordination as a means of achieving an integrated urban environment. He also pointed to the Authority’s efforts to adopt new visions for financing beautification projects through partnerships with the private sector.
The workshop addressed the vision of the New Urban Communities Authority to achieve urban development in new cities, with a focus on urban coordination and visual identity. Projects have been implemented with innovative ideas to boost financial returns and attract companies to participate in development. The workshop was attended by members of the “Egypt Vision 2050” team, including Dr. Amani Mamdouh, Accountant Sameh Magdy, and Dr. Mohamed El-Saranjawy.
In parallel, the New Salhia City Development Authority hosted a workshop to train employees on the latest techniques in managing and operating the water system.
This initiative comes within the directives of Housing Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny and the efforts of NUCA to improve infrastructure efficiency and the quality of services. The workshop included presentations and hands-on training on operations and maintenance, along with discussions on challenges and ways to overcome them. New Salhia City is currently witnessing comprehensive development of water and sewage networks as part of the infrastructure modernization plan.
