Major General Ismail Kamal, Governor of Aswan, held a meeting with Engineer Ahmed Bassiouni, Director of the Replacement and Renewal Project for Expat Housing at the Ministry of Housing.
Bassiouni indicated that 1,651 residential units have been completed and delivered after carrying out full replacement works and finalizing the finishing stages in a modern and aesthetic manner as part of the redevelopment project for expat housing in the villages of Nasr El-Nuba City and Center.

The governor explained that, through continued cooperation with the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities led by Dr. Sherif El-Sherbini, in addition to the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development headed by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, additional allocations amounting to EGP 200 million were secured.
These are being used in phases to complete the remaining parts of the project. Current work includes the replacement and renewal of an additional 937 residential units, which are progressing at an accelerated pace.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening community participation among residents to ensure the completion of precise technical inspections carried out by specialized committees, and to support the finalization of the ongoing phase within its assigned timeline.
