Assistant Minister of Housing: Strong Investment Demand Around the Pyramids After the Museum Opening

Dr. Abdel Khalek Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Housing, stated that Egypt—particularly the North Coast and Red Sea regions—offers promising investment opportunities, noting a significant rise in investment demand in the Pyramids area following the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.

He explained during the fourth edition of the “The Investor” conference today that the Pyramids area and Khedivial Cairo are witnessing growing investor interest, with notable opportunities emerging in these locations. He also proposed the establishment of an Egyptian-Omani real estate portfolio to further enhance cooperation in the property sector.

The conference is held under the slogan “Egypt – Oman… The Land of Opportunities”, organized by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo and Black Diamond Company. The event aims to showcase investment opportunities in both countries, particularly in sectors such as real estate, highlighting major projects like Egypt’s New Administrative Capital and Sultan Haitham City in the Sultanate of Oman.

The conference saw participation from several officials from both nations, who emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation. Omani Ambassador Abdullah Al-Rahbi noted that joint investments have reached $1 billion, while trade exchange recorded $858 million in 2024. He affirmed Oman’s readiness to support investors and strengthen partnerships between the private sectors in both countries.
