Dr. Abdel Khalek Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities for Technical Affairs, met with a group of newly appointed Egyptian ambassadors abroad as part of the state’s efforts to enhance communication between ministries and diplomatic missions. During the meeting, Dr. Abdel Khalek presented a comprehensive vision of Egypt’s urban development projects, outlining the long-standing challenges the country has faced, especially rapid population growth and its impact on infrastructure and public services. He also discussed the national strategic plan aimed at doubling the inhabited area of Egypt from 7% to 14% of the country’s total area. This goal is to be achieved through the establishment of new urban centers designed to meet population needs and improve the quality of life for all citizens.

Additionally, the “Beit El Watan” program caters specifically to Egyptians abroad.
