The Social Housing Fund is reviewing applications submitted for residential units as part of the fifth phase of the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative. This phase includes ready-to-deliver and under-construction units that will be fully finished within three years.
The results of the application review process are expected to be announced within a month. Following this, the appeals window will open, allowing applicants to submit grievances, which will be examined and addressed. It is anticipated that installment payments for the under-construction units will begin within two months, while the eligibility verification process for ready-to-deliver units will commence before the end of the current fiscal year.
For applicants who meet the project’s criteria but do not qualify due to priority limitations, the Social Housing Fund has provided two options: they can either keep their down payments to secure priority in the next phase or withdraw their payments at a later date, which will be officially announced in due course.
The fund aims to increase the allocated monthly housing units to approximately 10,000 in the coming period. Additionally, efforts will be intensified to expedite the processing of applicants’ files and their transfer to financing entities, including banks and mortgage financing companies.
