Engineer Mohamed Mostafa, Head of the 6th of October City Authority, announced the execution of a nighttime campaign that immediately removed an unauthorized rooftop extension at Plot No. 651 in the 2000 Plots area. This campaign is part of ongoing efforts to maintain the city’s civilized appearance, uphold public order, and prevent informal urban practices.
The authority’s head explained that the campaign was conducted under the supervision of Engineer Ahmed Makki, the Deputy Head of the Authority, with the participation of the night shift team, security personnel, and the removal and occupancy control team.
Rapid Response from 6th of October City Authority to Complaints
Engineer Hossam Hosni, Deputy Head of the Authority, led a campaign in cooperation with the occupancy control team to resolve complaints regarding waste sorting at Building No. 20 in District 12. Additionally, the campaign addressed a complaint about an unauthorized poultry slaughterhouse in District 6, where utilities were cut off from the violating shops, and the necessary legal procedures are ongoing.
Engineer Mohamed Mostafa emphasized the importance of intensifying monitoring and follow-up efforts to ensure discipline in the city’s districts and enforce the law to prevent informal violations. He also stated that receiving and addressing citizen complaints remains a top priority for the authority to improve the quality of services provided to residents.
