Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, oversaw the delivery of residential units to citizens in the “Dorra Al-Wadi” project, located in the 25th of January district in Al-Kharga City, New Valley Governorate. The project, implemented by the Housing Finance Fund, spans an area of 50 acres, which was allocated by the New Valley Governorate for the construction of a fully finished residential neighborhood.
El-Sherbiny emphasized that the project aligns with the political leadership’s directives to provide housing units that suit various segments of society. He stressed the importance of completing the delivery of the residential units designated for citizens as soon as possible.
In turn, Engineer Hisham Darwish, Chairman of the Housing Finance Fund, stated that the “Dorra Al-Wadi” project consists of 101 buildings, totaling 2,032 units. The first phase, including 26 buildings with 520 units, has been completed and sold. Currently, 500 residential units have been handed over to their respective owners, and efforts are underway to finalize the delivery of the remaining units.
Darwish added that the project also includes 52 fully finished administrative units and 104 commercial shops in various sizes, which are being sold through an upcoming public auction to provide various services to residents. The project also includes 75 land plots, with sizes ranging from 313 m² to 1,047 m².
