Abdel Maqsoud pointed out that the green architecture initiative, which includes housing units under the presidential initiative, relies on using environmentally friendly building materials and architectural solutions suited to the climate. The goal is to minimize carbon emissions and optimize water and electricity consumption by relying on renewable energy sources and recycling greywater to irrigate green spaces.

The Head of the New 6th of October City Authority explained that the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” aims to provide residential units suitable for different income segments. The Ministry of Housing’s policy focuses on offering housing for all social classes through three main pillars: making luxury units available at market prices for high-income individuals, supporting middle-income citizens with suitable housing, and providing subsidized social housing for low-income groups.

Engineer Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud followed up on the final finishing works and general site coordination for the fifth-phase buildings in the West Airport area, which include 10,608 housing units. Of these, 9,624 units have already been completed. He also reviewed the implementation progress of the sixth-phase buildings, which include 55,000 housing units.
