Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the progress of ongoing projects in Capital Gardens City. He was accompanied by officials from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the head of the city’s authority.
The minister began his tour by inspecting the city’s entrance, where he reviewed roadworks, landscaping, and lighting activities. He stressed the importance of maintaining the greenery and providing directional signage on both the main and internal roads.
Following that, the minister and his delegation visited the residential units being implemented under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” – specifically the segments for low- and middle-income citizens. Tens of thousands of residential units are currently under construction. The minister toured several building sites and emphasized the need for regular maintenance of landscaping and green areas, in addition to maintaining the façades of the buildings.
During the tour, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny listened to a detailed presentation on the presidential initiative in Capital Gardens City. Engineer Ammar Mandour, Head of the City Authority, explained that the total number of residential units in the city amounts to 120,186, of which 112,818 are designated for low-income housing.
