10th of Ramadan City recently hosted a delegation from West African countries, including representatives from Morocco, Tunisia, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Congo, Chad, and Gabon. The visit aimed to explore Egypt’s successful experience in establishing and managing industrial zones. Organized by the General Authority for Industrial Development and the 10th of Ramadan Investors Association, the visit commenced with an extensive meeting attended by several officials. Engineer Alaa Abdallah Mostafa emphasized that the city is one of Egypt’s largest industrial hubs and serves as a successful model.
The city is working toward providing suitable residential units for all societal segments and developing a modern transportation network, which includes the Light Rail Transit (LRT) connecting the city to Cairo, Sharqia, and Qalyubia governorates. Additionally, cargo transport lines and a dry port are under development to boost trade efficiency.
Dr. Mohie Hafez presented the investment incentives offered by the Egyptian government, noting that 10th of Ramadan City hosts the largest number of factories in the country. He highlighted the vast investment opportunities available, including significant tax exemptions.
The visit concluded with a tour of major factories, where the delegation expressed admiration for the city’s advanced infrastructure and organized industrial landscape. They also voiced interest in benefiting from Egypt’s experience and strengthening cooperation in industrial development sectors.
