Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued 10 decisions to remove encroachments on various plots of land owned by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) in New Borg El Arab City.
In this context, the Minister of Housing emphasized the continued efforts to eliminate violations and encroachments on lands belonging to new city development authorities. He stated there are clear directives for city authority heads to carry out this task, as it falls under their direct responsibilities. This initiative aims to restore state rights and maximize land utilization by providing more investment opportunities.
The decisions highlighted the need to remove 78 encroachments on lands owned by NUCA in New Borg El Arab City. These violations cover areas ranging from approximately one qirat (175 square meters) to around 48 feddans (201,600 square meters) per case, with all submitted legalization requests being rejected.
Additionally, the decisions stated that the New Borg El Arab City Authority, in cooperation with the Urban Development Police and the relevant local police department, will oversee and execute the removal operations.
