Continued Demand for the Second Offering of Housing for All Egyptians 7 for Low- and Middle-Income Citizens

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, confirmed the continued strong demand from citizens for the second offering under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians 7”, dedicated to low- and middle-income citizens. This comes in line with the extension of the reservation period, the purchase of the terms booklet, as well as the payment of reservation deposits and administrative fees until Sunday, September 14, 2025.

The minister explained that the extension was made in response to requests from many applicants, highlighting the ministry’s keenness to meet the needs of citizens seeking housing units within the project.

Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund, pointed out the release of a new instructional video explaining the steps for applying in the second offering. This aims to simplify the process for citizens, in continuation of the Fund’s ongoing series of explanatory videos. She clarified that the number of citizens who registered through the online portal to book units has reached 234,000, while 139,000 citizens have already paid the reservation deposits.

The CEO stressed the importance of completing all the procedures outlined in the terms booklet, particularly paying the reservation deposit at the designated automated post offices. Failure to complete these steps means that the applicant will not be officially considered for the offering, and their application will not be reviewed.

After completing the first stage, applicants must select the service “Apply for Housing Unit Reservation” via the online portal, then choose the specific offering according to the purchased terms booklet, and select and confirm their income bracket. The applicant’s government-verified data will then appear for review and updating if necessary.

Applicants are required to enter personal details such as residential address, spouse information, and sources of income. They must then select their preferred governorate or city for the housing unit, verify the choice, and ensure the accuracy of the entered information. Additionally, they must confirm they have not previously benefited from the initiative, agree to the required declarations, and upload all necessary documents in PDF format.

In the final step, applicants review the due fees, print the payment slip, and pay the amount at an automated post office 24 hours after submitting the request. Abdel Hamid also emphasized the importance of contacting the Digital Egypt Platform customer service at 15999 for technical support and inquiries about the offering, available 24/7.
