President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with Bahrain across various fields, reflecting the historic relations between the two nations and serving the interests of both peoples, particularly in light of regional challenges.
This came during his meeting yesterday with Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, and Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of Special Operations of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The guests conveyed the greetings of the King of Bahrain and the Crown Prince, praising the brotherly relations between the two countries and emphasizing the importance of boosting joint cooperation. They also commended El-Sisi’s efforts in supporting regional security, while the President expressed Egypt’s appreciation for the policies of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The meeting addressed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and discussed developments in the Gaza Strip, along with efforts to achieve calm in coordination with Qatar and the United States. The discussions stressed the need to expedite the entry of humanitarian aid, reject the displacement of Palestinians, and contain regional tensions to preserve stability.
