In response to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to provide full support to the Palestinian people—and within the framework of Egypt’s ongoing role in supporting the residents of the Gaza Strip and restoring hope despite the severe humanitarian conditions—nine Egyptian military transport aircraft have carried out airdrop missions over the past three days.
These missions delivered tens of tons of food aid and targeted areas within Gaza that are inaccessible by land.
This comes in parallel with Egypt’s continued efforts to ensure the flow of aid trucks through land routes.
