President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a meeting today with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister; General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Transport and Industry; Engineer Hassan El-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade; Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources; and Dr. Ali Hamed, CEO of the Environmental Affairs Agency.
According to Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, the President reviewed during the meeting the latest updates on the execution of industrial projects, the provision of raw materials necessary for industrial operations, ways to secure the required financing, and efforts to forge partnerships with leading global companies. The discussions also covered marketing strategies for products locally and internationally.
The spokesperson noted that President El-Sisi emphasized the significance of petrochemical and mining industries, which are being implemented by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. These projects play a key role in maximizing the added value of Egypt’s natural and mineral resources, meeting the needs of the local market, boosting exports, and contributing to the expansion of related industries—thereby creating job opportunities.
