Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly announced that he visited the East Hospital in Alexandria, where he inspected the specialized center for kidney transplants, open-heart surgeries, and catheterization procedures. He noted that the development of this center began in 2020 and has since been completed. The facility, he emphasized, does not only serve the residents of Alexandria but also extends its medical services to neighboring governorates.
During a press conference held on the sidelines of his tour to inspect several projects in Alexandria, the Prime Minister stated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has issued a directive to expedite the restoration of building facades overlooking the Alexandria Corniche.
He pointed out that the Arab Contractors Company has already commenced restoration work on 55 buildings, as part of a broader plan targeting 150 buildings, following a carefully structured timeline.
Madbouly also mentioned that he instructed the governor to prioritize the restoration of architecturally significant buildings in Alexandria’s older districts, starting from the Raml area and extending to the historic Qaitbay Citadel.
