President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended the official oath-taking ceremony in the city of El Alamein for newly appointed senior judges to high-ranking positions within Egypt’s judicial authorities. The appointments include: Counselor Assem Abdel Latif El-Saeed Abdel Fattah as President of the Court of Cassation, Counselor Osama Youssef Shalaby as President of the State Council, Counselor Hussein Madkour as Head of the State Lawsuits Authority, and Counselor Mohamed Ahmed Khalil as Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority.
In recognition of their national service, President El-Sisi awarded the Order of the Republic, First Class, to four former judicial leaders who had previously held these prominent positions.
The Presidential Spokesperson stated that during his meeting with the new heads of the judicial authorities, the President extended his sincere wishes for their success in fulfilling their national duties. He emphasized the critical importance of continuing efforts to uphold the rule of law, which forms the foundation of justice and equality in the context of the New Republic.
The President also underscored the necessity of maintaining the independence of the judiciary, expressing his deep appreciation for the pivotal national role that judicial institutions play in safeguarding the rights, freedoms, and property of citizens. He highlighted the need to further develop the litigation system, protect the status of the judiciary, and enhance the capabilities of judicial members to ensure swift justice and preserve the dignity of the Egyptian citizen.
