Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, paid a surprise visit to the Technology Center at the Badr City Development Authority to monitor workflow and the services provided to citizens. The minister inspected the center, which features 25 service windows offering a variety of public services, and held a meeting to discuss ways to maximize financial resources. He instructed that a comprehensive report be prepared detailing all vacant lands in Badr City, with the aim of offering them to potential investors.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny reviewed ongoing housing projects in Badr City. Engineer Mohamed Abdel Aziz highlighted several developments, including the third phase of the Capital City Employees Housing Project (92 buildings, 2,208 units), medium-income housing (61 buildings, 1,464 units), and social housing (14 buildings, 336 units).

The Minister also followed up on new housing initiatives such as the “Housing for All Egyptians” project (112 buildings, 2,688 units), the “Diarna” project (13 buildings, 338 units), and the luxury housing project “Zilal” (41 buildings, 984 units).
In addition, the inspection included an overview of educational, healthcare, and commercial projects in the city, such as Nile School, a secondary school for girls, and a health unit.
