President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency Professor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of the Portuguese Republic, on the occasion of Portugal’s National Day. In celebration of this occasion, President El-Sisi also assigned Mohamed Negm, Secretary at the Presidency of the Republic, to visit the Embassy of Portugal in Cairo to extend Egypt’s best wishes.
In a related context, President El-Sisi sent a similar congratulatory message to President Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of Russia’s National Holiday. President El-Sisi delegated Ahmed Mohamed Reda, Secretary at the Presidency of the Republic, to visit the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Cairo to convey Egypt’s greetings.
