In a touching humanitarian gesture, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi expressed genuine concern for one of the religious scholars (imams) who attended the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Grand Mosque of Egypt in the New Administrative Capital, after he noticed the imam had a foot injury while standing to greet him.
Immediately, President El-Sisi instructed a member of his office to take the necessary steps to ensure the imam received proper medical treatment. The Presidential Office quickly reached out to the imam to begin the urgent treatment process.
Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to President El-Sisi for this compassionate gesture, highlighting that it reflects the President’s deep concern for the members of the Ministry of Awqaf and for the well-being of Egyptian citizens in all fields.
