President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sent a congratulatory cable to President Isaias Afwerki, President of the State of Eritrea, on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day celebrations. President El-Sisi also delegated Mohamed Atef El-Amin from the Presidency to visit the Eritrean Embassy in Cairo to extend his congratulations on this occasion.
In a related context, the President sent a similar congratulatory cable to Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, on the occasion of Unity Day. President El-Sisi also assigned Mohamed Atef El-Amin to visit the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Cairo to offer his congratulations.
Additionally, the President sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Dr. José Ramos-Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of East Timor, on the occasion of their Independence Day celebrations.
