Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the launch of the first offering of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians 7,” aimed at middle-income citizens. This announcement comes in implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide suitable housing for citizens.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny explained that the initiative includes 15,000 housing units available under the real estate finance system and will be allocated according to a first-come, first-served booking system. Applications and payment of the booking deposit will start from May 21, 2025, until June 4, 2025.
The Minister of Housing also indicated that applications will be reviewed to determine which applicants meet the eligibility criteria and which do not. Then, an additional period will be provided to receive complaints from citizens who do not meet the conditions. After determining the status of all applicants, a period of up to ten days will be opened during which eligible applicants can access a dedicated website to select a specific housing unit. Text messages will be sent to eligible applicants containing details about the procedures.
