President El-Sisi and South African President Discuss Bilateral Relations Over the Phone

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from President Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of South Africa.

The official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the two presidents reviewed the positive developments in bilateral relations and reaffirmed their shared commitment to expanding avenues of cooperation across various fields. This cooperation aims to serve the mutual interests of the two friendly nations and enhance integration within the African continent. They also discussed ways to develop economic, trade, and investment partnerships, reflecting the strength of the distinguished political ties between the two countries.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the presidential spokesperson, added that the call also addressed the current situation across the African continent and explored ways to strengthen security and stability in its various regions. Furthermore, the conversation touched on mechanisms to support bilateral coordination in multilateral frameworks, particularly within the African Union, in a manner that contributes to advancing development and solidifying stability.
