Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Ministry of Housing has announced the launch of new residential units as part of the presidential initiative Housing for All Egyptians 7, according to statements made by Eng. Amr Khattab, the official spokesperson for the ministry.
In a phone interview on the Cairo and the People channel, Amr Khattab explained that Dr. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, presented a proposal to Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, outlining the implementation plan for the offering of approximately 400,000 residential units distributed across most of the governorates of the republic. This is considered the largest housing offering of its kind to date.
The Ministry’s spokesperson indicated that the first phase of this offering will include 116,000 units, and reservations will begin on May 21 of this year. Some of the residential units are ready for immediate delivery, while others are still under construction and will be delivered within 36 months. The Housing for All Egyptians 7 booklet will include full details about the offering, along with general and specific terms and conditions, and a list of the participating governorates. Eligibility requirements will consider monthly income, social and age status, with reservation priority based on age group. The down payment for low-income units is set at EGP 50,000, while for middle-income units, it is EGP 100,000.
