Today, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly began an inspection tour of several projects in New Alamein City, accompanied by Engineer Sherif El Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, along with a number of officials from the ministry.
The Prime Minister explained that this tour comes as part of the ongoing follow-up on various urban development projects across the country. He pointed to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which emphasize the need to accelerate the pace of work on ongoing projects in the city and complete them as quickly as possible, given the significant importance of New Alamein. The city is considered a launching point for the development of the northwestern coast.
He highlighted that New Alamein City stands out for its diverse range of tourism and urban development projects, which include various levels of housing, in addition to commercial, cultural, and educational projects, along with a wide array of services. These developments are part of a comprehensive vision aimed at transforming the city into a future destination.
He further noted that his tour would begin with an extensive meeting to discuss the progress of the various projects underway in the city and the northwestern coast. This would be followed by a field tour to inspect some of the ongoing projects in order to assess the pace of implementation and operational readiness.
He affirmed that this unique region receives great attention and consistent efforts to maximize the use of its promising capabilities, which qualify it to attract investments and host activities and visitors throughout the year in line with the state’s vision in this sector.
