Dr. Ahmed Ismail Gabr, Head of the New Obour City Authority, conducted an inspection tour to monitor the progress of the social housing project, specifically the units under the Tenth Announcement in the city. The visit aimed to ensure the steady advancement of construction work and adherence to the designated timelines for completing housing units before their handover to eligible beneficiaries.
During the tour, the inspection covered the 2600-acre area, where the Head of the Authority examined the progress of 66 residential buildings comprising 1,584 housing units within the Al-Nozha Apartment Project. This assessment aimed to confirm compliance with the established schedules and quality standards.
Dr. Gabr also reviewed the progress at various project sites, inspecting the construction work and final finishing of the residential buildings. He ensured that the implementing companies adhered to the agreed-upon deadlines, swiftly completing all construction phases, finishing works, and site development. Additionally, he scrutinized the materials’ quality to ensure they met approved specifications.
The Head of the Authority emphasized the importance of continuously monitoring the project to guarantee a safe living environment. He stressed the need for coordination between executing companies and consulting offices to overcome obstacles. Furthermore, he reiterated the necessity of adhering to the project’s timeline, as it aims to meet citizens’ housing needs through the cooperation of all involved parties.
After the tour, Dr. Gabr highlighted that this project is one of Egypt’s major national initiatives, reaffirming the commitment to delivering the units on schedule and in compliance with the highest quality standards.
Minister of Housing Meets with Minister of Religious Endowments
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, the Minister of Housing, received Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, the Minister of Religious Endowments, to discuss mutual topics of interest between the two ministries. Officials from both sides attended the meeting.
El-Sherbiny welcomed Al-Azhari and extended his greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, praising the ongoing cooperation between the ministries.
