The Meeting Between the Minister of Housing and Officials of “Egyptian Real Estate Platform”

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with Ahmed El-Batrawy, the official representative of the Egyptian Real Estate Platform, along with his accompanying delegation.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss potential collaboration between the Ministry of Housing and the Egyptian Real Estate Platform to enhance the status of Egyptian real estate both locally and internationally.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to fully supporting the platform. He emphasized that the ministry aims to enable the platform to fulfill its core role in promoting and marketing Egyptian real estate globally.

The minister also highlighted that this collaboration aligns with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who is keen on implementing innovative solutions to attract and encourage foreign investment in Egypt.

During his speech, the minister stressed that the Ministry of Housing continues its efforts to advance the digital transformation of the real estate sector. This initiative is part of the government’s broader strategy to enhance transparency and regulate the real estate market.

He further pointed out that the real estate sector is one of the major contributors to national economic growth. The government places special importance on urban and real estate development, considering it a national priority.

For his part, Ahmed El-Batrawy expressed his pleasure at meeting the Minister of Housing. He stated that the Egyptian Real Estate Platform functions as a comprehensive hub for real estate information in Egypt. The platform provides a vast database and allows users to access accurate real estate information, making it easier to find homes in Egypt. It also offers a mobile application facilitating client communication and enhancing real estate search and marketing processes.

After the meeting, both parties strongly desired to strengthen cooperation and expand collaboration between the Ministry of Housing and the Egyptian Real Estate Platform, especially given the growing significance of digital transformation and technology in the real estate sector.
