The Real Estate Development Chamber of the Federation of Egyptian Industries has declared its full support for President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s stance on rejecting the displacement of Palestinians and advocating for the reconstruction of Gaza.

Readiness for Immediate Action

The chamber announced that its member companies, which exceed 10,000 developers, are fully prepared to mobilize resources and implement a reconstruction plan for Gaza if called upon. These companies have extensive logistical and technical expertise to help Palestinians recover from the destruction caused by war.

Strategic Reconstruction Approach

The chamber praised the Palestinian people’s resilience in rebuilding Gaza, emphasizing their unwavering commitment to their land and heritage. It urged regional construction entities and civil society organizations to collaborate in accelerating the reconstruction process. By leveraging joint efforts, the chamber aims to significantly reduce project timelines, ensuring that developments that typically take months or years can be completed in record time.

Egypt’s Experience in Reconstruction

Egypt has demonstrated proven expertise in post-war rebuilding, notably in Libya and Iraq, where Egyptian firms and workers played a pivotal role in redevelopment. These projects have paved the way for long-term investments by Egyptian companies in those regions.

Commitment to National Leadership

The chamber reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Egyptian leadership’s firm rejection of forced displacement and emphasized Egypt’s strong capabilities in real estate development. Under President El-Sisi’s leadership, Egypt has successfully executed large-scale infrastructure projects in record time, equipping Egyptian companies and workers with the expertise required for international expansion.

Egypt’s Key Strengths in Gaza’s Reconstruction

Egypt’s strategic advantages in contributing to Gaza’s redevelopment include:

  • A highly skilled workforce with experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong real estate and construction companies capable of executing projects efficiently.
  • Readily available building materials and resources to support reconstruction.
  • Geographic proximity, ensuring swift logistical support and cost-effective project execution.

The chamber reiterated its readiness to play a pivotal role in restoring stability and prosperity to Gaza, bringing hope and security to the Palestinian people.
