New Rafah City: 46 Housing Units Delivered to Beneficiaries

The handover of housing units in New Rafah City began yesterday, marking a significant step in meeting the housing needs of local residents. A total of 46 housing units were delivered to beneficiaries on the first day, with the process set to continue for four consecutive days at the same daily pace.

Major General Assem Sadoun, Deputy Governor of North Sinai, attended the first day of the handover, emphasizing that this initiative aligns with the demands of Rafah’s residents for alternative housing solutions. He noted that the governorate prioritizes the well-being and stability of its citizens, ensuring their living needs are met effectively.

Saleh Mohamed Abu Huli, Head of Rafah City Council, highlighted the importance of adhering to the schedules for document submission and completing procedures at the governorate’s technology center. To ease the process, free buses have been arranged to transport citizens to and from New Rafah City during the handover period, reducing their burden and ensuring a smooth operation.

Abu Huli also reaffirmed the city council’s readiness to address any requests or complaints from residents promptly. He stressed that achieving citizen satisfaction and meeting their needs remain top priorities for the local administration.

This milestone underscores the ongoing efforts to provide modern, stable housing and improve the quality of life for the people of Rafah.
