Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued strict instructions to the officials of the New Urban Communities Authority and the New Alamein City Authority to accelerate the construction of the units under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.” He called for an increase in labor and machinery on-site, stressing the importance of 24-hour work to meet the project deadlines.
This directive was made during the minister’s inspection of the progress of the “Housing for All Egyptians” units in New Alamein. He was accompanied by Dr. Abdel Khaleq Ibrahim, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs, Engineer Amin Ghoniem, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority for Development, Engineer Ahmed Ibrahim, Head of the New Alamein City Authority, and other officials.
The minister highlighted that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s instructions prioritize the swift completion of projects that directly affect the lives of citizens, with the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative at the forefront. He noted that New Alamein City offers various types of housing for different social segments and is equipped with comprehensive services. The government aims to establish New Alamein as a year-round global tourist destination and a city suitable for permanent living.
