Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced today the release of application booklets for the reservation of 1,645 diverse housing units with areas up to 161 square meters. These units, available for immediate booking with flexible payment plans, are located in eight new cities. The reservation period is open from September 29 until October 28, with application booklets and specifications available at the respective city authorities.
The minister emphasized that this offering aligns with the ministry’s direct unit availability mechanism, as part of ongoing efforts by the New Urban Communities Authority to diversify housing options and meet the needs of various social groups. This initiative follows President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directive to provide suitable housing for all citizens.
Dr. Hassan El-Shorbagy, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, detailed the breakdown of available units. The offering includes:
- 255 units in the 10th of Ramadan City, with areas ranging from 63 to 105 square meters.
- 137 units in 6th of October City, with areas between 55 and 90 square meters.
- 878 units in the “Janna” development in New Mansoura, ranging from 100 to 150 square meters.
- 5 units in Obour City, with areas between 75 and 104 square meters.
Additionally, Dr. El-Shorbagy noted that the offering also includes:
- 8 units in New Salhia, with areas ranging from 65 to 161 square meters.
- 240 “Janna” units in New Mallawi, with areas ranging from 100 to 161 square meters.
- 8 units in New Borg El Arab, with areas between 79 and 140 square meters.
- 114 units in New Rashid, ranging from 90 to 93 square meters.
The allocation of units will be conducted through a manual public lottery following the conclusion of the reservation period.
