President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, attended today the physical assessment examinations for students applying to join the Egyptian Military Academy and the military colleges. The examinations were held at the Academy’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, where he was received by Lieutenant General Ashraf Zaher, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, along with the directors of the military colleges.
Ambassador Mohammed El-Shenawy, the Official Spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that upon the President’s arrival at the Egyptian Military Academy Council Hall, a presentation was given outlining the status of the examinations for students nominated for admission to the Academy and military colleges for the October 2025 intake. The spokesperson explained that President El-Sisi commented on a proposal to amend the Child Law following recent incidents of crimes related to this context. He emphasized that the matter has a significant social dimension, noting that Egypt already has comprehensive laws covering various fields. However, he stressed that the most important aspect is the strict and uncompromising enforcement of these laws.
He also highlighted the importance of raising awareness and developing societal thinking to ensure the effective implementation of laws. The President added that everyone should contribute to this effort, including families, educational institutions such as schools and universities, as well as mosques, churches, and the media.
The spokesperson further noted that President El-Sisi engaged in an interactive dialogue with the students applying to join the Egyptian Military Academy, during which he addressed a number of important issues and topics.
