President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi commented on the House of Representatives elections, the first round of the second phase of voting having concluded, noting his objection to certain practices that he found unsatisfactory.
During a discussion with students at the Military Academy, he emphasized his desire to see all matters conducted properly and in line with the aspirations of the Egyptian people.
He referred to the challenges the country has faced since 2011 and his efforts, since assuming office in 2014, to improve conditions. He stressed the importance of shared determination in achieving this goal.
Sisi underlined the need to continue working to improve the situation and to prevent any obstacles that might hinder progress. He expressed optimism about achieving advancement through the efforts of Egyptians and with God’s guidance.
