President El-Sisi Affirms the Strategic Nature of Relations Between Egypt and Algeria

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi today received Seifi Gharib, Prime Minister of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, and delegations from both countries.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, stated that the President began the meeting by emphasizing the strategic nature of relations between Egypt and Algeria and the strong historical ties that bind the two countries. He praised the remarkable progress and increasing momentum witnessed in bilateral relations in recent years.

In this context, the President requested that his greetings be conveyed to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, wishing the sisterly country of Algeria continued progress and prosperity.
