President El-Sisi: Our African Continent Is Among the Most Affected by Current International Circumstances

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a statement announcing his sponsorship of the launch of the fifth edition of the Week for Reconstruction and Post-Conflict Development, which will be held in Cairo from 17 to 23 November 2025 under the theme: “Rebuilding Life After Conflict Through Restorative Justice.”

The President emphasized that Africa is facing complex security and developmental challenges, including internal conflicts, terrorism, transnational crimes, poverty, and declining levels of education.

He also pointed to emerging issues such as climate change and the use of advanced technologies. Furthermore, the continent is negatively affected by global polarization and intensified competition, which hinder efforts to achieve stability and development in line with the African Development Agenda 2063.
